Honig Mix for omelette
With the Honig Mix for Farmer’s Omelet you can put a delicious fresh and tasty dish on the table in no time. Add fresh eggs and your favorite vegetables yourself and put this Dutch classic on the table quickly and easily!
6 medium eggs
1 small onion
125 g (chestnut) mushrooms
4 slices of whole wheat bread
General preparation method
1 Beat the eggs with 1 tsp. water in a mixing bowl.
2 Stir in the contents of 1 bag of Honig base for Farmer’s omelette and let the omelet mixture stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
3 Heat 2 tbsp. olive oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Then pour the omelette mixture into the pan.
4 Bake the omelette, with a lid on the pan, over medium heat for a few minutes until golden.
5 Serve the omelette on (toasted) bread and garnish with some parsley if desired.
