Shopping list: 2 onions, 1 leek, 1 red pepper, 1 tin tomato paste (70 g each), 150 g corn (can), 300 g lean ground beef and 1 jar of brown beans (400 g each). Preparation: drain the beans and corn. Chop the onions. Cut the leek into rings and the bell pepper into cubes. Preparation method: 1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the minced meat in it. Stir fry the vegetables for a few minutes. 2. Add 350 ml of water and the contents of this sachet. Bring everything to the boil and let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. 3. Then add the tomato paste, kidney beans and corn. Stir well and let it heat up for a while (it doesn’t have to boil anymore). Serve the chili con carne with rice or baked bread. For a day without meat, you can replace the ground beef with a can of drained lentils (310 g). Add them with the beans in step 3.
