Punselie’s Syrup cookies
Enjoying a delicious stroopkoek means enjoying a real Punselie. It is a delicious syrup biscuit that originated in Gouda and has been manufactured by the Punselie family since the 1940s. The delicious cookies are free from cow’s milk components, chicken egg components, lactose, nuts, peanuts and are therefore suitable for many people with a food allergy! In addition, it contains 100% vegetable oil and fat. The Punselie is still great today!
The baker’s family Punselie moved from Switzerland to the Netherlands around 1643 and started a bakery in Gouda in 1872. Mr. Punselie invented the Punselie syrup biscuit by sticking 2 Gouda diamonds together with a caramel syrup filling in between, that’s how the Punselie was born. Today, the company, which produces 40,000 biscuits per hour, is headed by grandson Ronald Punselie.

WHEAT flour, sugar, vegetable fat/vegetable oil (palm oil, rapeseed oil), glucose syrup, starch, spices (cinnamon), salt, raising agent: E500, E450a (sodium bicarbonate, acid sodium pyrophosphate), emulsifiers: E322 (sunflower lecithin), flavourings, dye E160a (carotene).
